If it's a Morse-Teleflex, the outer sheath is probably black and back maybe 12" from one end will be a string of numbers stamped in white. Take that string of numbers and www the company for a replacement.
Post the numbers off the cable here in this thread. If it's an original cable, and probably red, the length may be listed in inches, not feet.
