i bought this all aluminum 2012 excel c.c. with a 90 etec here are a list of mods ive done since ive bought the boat in january 2012 ..

lowrance hds-5 chartplotter/fish finder
minn kota co-pilot 55lb (quick disconnect plate)
king pin shallow water anchor
4 stainless rod holders
water pressure gauge
moeller 90qt ice chest
and some misc. stainless steel cup holders and tie downs

so what do yall think ...??? feed back would be nice ~b~

I think it's bad*** and I can't even see any pics other than your avatar. Did you post some? Often the office web filters make it look as if there aren't any at all. My uncle has a seventeen foot Excel with a fifty horse Tohatsu. We duck hunt out of it in the winter. That thing is amazing. We run WOT up and down the White River and the spray is literally inches from my arm but never gets on me. When we launch it other hunters say things like "I'd never pay that much for a duck boat." Translation: "man I wish I had one of those!". Congrats on the new rig. You picked a dandy. Welcome aboard.

Looks like a real redfish slayer I say just put a couple in the fish box and call it good

thank you sir. i love this boat nimble pretty quick for the motor thats on it and i stay dry even when going over those big wakes from tg boats ..

That is a nice rig. Where did you get the rod holders on the windsheild grab bar? I'd like to put some like that on my xpress cc. Also how long is your boat?

Thanks its 18' 80" beam... the rod holders i got off ebay i bought alot of my new stuff on ebay.. just make sure its a direct factory wholesale dealer of big parts such as trolling motors and gps etc..so you get the rebates and the warrenty

what your boat lentgh ? what size motor prop and pitch ??and are you running a jack plate??? trying to fine tune my boat and its hard to find other owners with this hull .. well as a center console im running a etec 90 with a pro jacker man. jp viper 19 pitch prop wot 46mph gps loaded down it will get to 49 unloaded but it porporses ..

Mine is 20ft. 88inch beam Yamaha 115 four stroke with a power tech 19 pitch ss prop.No jack plate. Motor is set all the way down on the transom. I get about 47gps with me the wife and two kids. Thats loaded with fishing gear and the bimini top down.My daughter is 8yrs old my son is 14 and he is as big as me,about 175lbs.

i want to replace my nylon cover that goes to the access under the center console with a hard door like yours i found a co. that custom makes them.. they quoted me 140.00 for it also i want to change my steering wheel to stainless like yours .. my boat didnt have rod holders so i put them where they didnt get in the way ..
