1984 Baja Force 250 Water Intake Location

I'm fairly new to boating and just bought a 1984 Baja Force 250. I'd like to run the motor while on the trailer before putting it in the lake, but it appears the standard flush muffs won't work on my outdrive. The boat has a Mercruiser 330 TRS outdrive. I've seen water intake vents on the sides of the lower units on other boats, but mine does not have them. I don't have any manuals or documentation for the boat. Is the intake on the hull or the transom? I don't see anything that looks obvious. Any help would be appreciated.
