Window tint ?

I have seen a few boats running around that have the windshields tinted. It looks REALLY sharp. The question is, if you install the tint on the outside of the windshield will it get scuffed by the cover? Also, for anyone that has done it, how tough is it to get it on a curved piece of glass?

it is installed inside the window, never outside. Compound curves are tough, leave that to the pros. If its only a simple curve (in one direction at a time), it is fairly easy for a first timer to tint that without too many bubbles.
