my '65 Starcraft Holiday came with a set of the Morse in-bow docking lights installed. these use an "eyeball" like arrangement that can swivel in the mounting ring affixed to hull. i have the eyeball out (says Dr Lecter....) but can't figure out how to separate it to replace the bulb. it uses a sealbeam GE fog light. they look like eyes in the bow.
i'm pretty much stuck with these since it would be a real bear to fab up a patch to cover the holes due to the faux-lapstrake stamped into the aluminum hull by Starcraft. but i hate having something on the boat that doesn't work. i've seen these on other old boats too. does anyone have any idea how i would go about separating the eyeball or otherwise how to replace the bulb (assuming i can even find the bulb)?
thanks!
