Re: 12ft Valco

Hi dodger. If she's a twelve foot flatbottom a 9.8 Merc and two fishermen will likely be too much for her. However, I know there are twelve foot tinnies out there that can handle that, most of them being V bottoms. Is the plate missing?

Re: 12ft Valco

no telling what "river model" means. 12' and two people? depends on the size of the people, other stuff in the boat and hull design for water conditions. Do not plan on moving around and don't use highchairs for fishing.

that's the kind of boat that has limited purposes, like a canoe, but people tend to over-extend what they can do, with bad results.

Re: 12ft Valco

The Valco's I've seen on this site have been pretty sturdy and high-sided. It very well may handle the 9.8 and two people just fine. Got a pic?

There are 12's and then there are (12's!) 12 footers that weigh 85-95 lbs about 6hp 95-120 8hp.
150 up 25hp. 2 guys can weigh it on a bathroom scale
If it has a tag do exactly as it suggests.
