Shower/sump pump replacement on my 2000 Chris Craft

My 2000 Chris Craft Express 268 has a bad shower/sump pump (Atwood v-750) right next to the bilge pump in a really hard to get to part of the bilge....it looks like it is located in a "wet" box.......short of cutting the boat in half it doesn't look like it can be removed unless i find a 1 foot tall midget to put down there......has any one else encountered this issue????? Maybe remove the toilet for better access????????

Hi Welcome to iboats

The sump is usually very accesable...
I think you are going at it from the wrong acess.

In the larger boats....the owners manual usually covers the acess area...
If you are really stuck,,,,,and someone here does not have the same boat......I would call chris craft.
The manufacturers are usually very helpful

Check above the sump pump, under the carpet for another access point. They didn't build the boat around the sump. If its easier, remove the shower/gray water hoses going to the box and remove it as a unit and replace the pump outside the bilge, then reinstall.

no the sump is for collecting water from the shower drain to be pumped overboard or to a grey water tank
