I bought one of these at a garage sale over the summer and cant find any info on it. Its fiberglass and about 8 feet long, and I guess it would be called a tunnel hull. It was last stickered in 1979 and is in great shape. Its hanging in my garage for wall art now but I'm looking for any info I can get,, thanks

Cool! Basically looks like a fiberglass version of any one of the 1950s/1960s era home-brew 8-foot hydroplanes made from Popular Mechanics type plans. I agree that you wouldn't want to put anything too large on it maybe a 15hp max - I think 20 would be pushing it. Kill switch and lifejacket would be mandatory, too!

Also, post your pics over on Fiberglassics.com - they LOVE the mini boats over there. Plus, a few of their members are quite knowledgeable about them in general... Might get some more history on them!
