Hello Everyone,

I have an old Ranger bass boat that I boat two years ago. Its in good shape, but I notice the other day one of the two cables is totally cracked and the other cable needs some attention soon.

The cables are the old "morse" 12ft, which are no longer made and I believe that "teleflex" is where to purchasing them now. The kit is about
$500 and to have them installed is another $300. I am not mechanical, but am willing to learn to try and fix things on my boat. Wasn't raised to
fix things like this? How doable is this and what do you guys recommend?

Thanks so much for the help.

Have you checked this (iboats) website for the cables?

You guys are all AWESOME!

If I can get the old morse, I will do summersaults! Lets say I can get them, really, how hard are they to put in guys? I am as
mechanical as Elmer Fudd!
