Leaning post aluminum boat

I have a Lowe 2009 1860CC and I am wanting to put a leaning post in it.The problem I am having is the back deck is only 18" from the console I was wondering if any one else has done this and if they would share some dimensions of there project or pictures.

Can you move the console or whatever is in the way? Are you going to modify or remove the seat?

I really don't want to do that. There is plenty of room to have it attached to the back deck I am really just trying to see some pics or designs others have already come up with.
