Crestliner Eagle fuel tank vent

On my shake down trip with my '95 Crestliner Eagle 221 after a short time of cruising my outboard started acting like it was running out of gas. I soon discovered the fuel line ball was completely collapsed. Does someone here know how the tank is vented? There appears to be a vent beside the fuel line by the rear floor access cover or is it vented at the fill cap. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

In case anybody cares the tank is only vented at the cap and the fill vent. Replaced squeeze ball, checked all fuel lines including fuel pick up at tank. Also checked fill vent for obstructions. Problem fixed.
