Hello, We recently purchased a 1965 Fairliner Fastback 34' and can not find the fresh water holding tank fill point. We have 2 fill points for Fuel on the deck and a pump out point for the waste holding tank but there is NOT a fill point for the fresh water on the deck.

We know where the water pump is at and where the tank is at but cant see where the plumbing goes to find our fill point.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Where on the boat is the tank located? Cabin area? Engine room? Chances are the fill is not to far from where the tank is...

I have a 1990 34' Thundercraft and the fill point for it is on the deck (within the passenger area) as opposed to the gunwale where the fuel and waste pump out are located. Not sure whether this was something that would have been done on a 1965 model, but you might want to check inside on the sundeck

Do you have provisions for using port services like power, telelphone, water. Odds are it's near there but sometimes on the opposite side.

Some are under a seat cushion, near the tank and others only fill with a standard hose adapter.

Re: Help Finding the fresh water holding tank fill point.

Thanks Everyone!

We do have provisions for using port power etc. The water pump and tank are under the bow bed.

All of our propane and electric provisions are at the stern behind little cubbies. The area under the captains chair is storage so it isnt under the cushon.

We have 2 fuel tanks, 95 gallons each with a fill point on each side of the rails.

Is it possible that the fill point could be located in the stern? Maybe near the engine's compartment??

We are really stumped on this one. Since the boat is a 65, previoius owners have changed several things several things are not where the owners manual from 1965 say they are supposed to be.

I appreciate any suggestoins no matter how far fetched they might seem.

thanks again! :)
