I'm thinking of getting flush mount rod holders for my "20ft" ChrisCraft Concept 198. I was hoping to get any suggestions on what angles and positioning to use to best keep the lines separated for trolling with such a small boat. I suppose one on each side and 2 on the stern. I attached a picture of a similar boat I found on Google to give an idea of what I'm working with.

sounds good; angle th eones on the side slightly out. Look at the riggin g on almost any center console for this. Be mindful of how the rod holder drains.

Re: Rod holder degree/positioning suggestions?

The angles in flush mount rod holders are already built in (thankfully). Regarding direction, the should be facing rearward and slightly outboard. Figure your boat is on a clock face with the bow at 12:00. The rods, when in the holders, should be pointing at 5:00 and 7:00.

Remember when drilling the holes, you will have to drill them at an angle as well so the hole in the gunwale is elliptical.
