Hurray.... I read on.... The last winter my mechanic had lubed the helm control.......... It is not hydrolic.... just with pressure I had grease and oil dripping..... I hit the steering rod...(I hope that is the right name) lubed it with 10W30 and used a block of wood at the end and taped it with a hammer while someone assisted by turning the wheel at the helm.... YAY! it is free and working like new.... 10W30 is now permenantely on the boat where ever it travels. Your posts and other threads helped me alot and it is greatly appreciated.
