Jabsco electric water pump 36950-1000 Repairs

I have a Jabsco 36950-1000 pump which pumps water but will not shut off when tank is empty
The micro switch is good and the plunger does move. What else could be wrong?

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,... Could ya explain it abit more,..??

Most pumps shut off when they get up to pressure, not when the well runs dry....

The only thing that shuts them off is water pressure, mine does the same thing. I have a seperate breaker for the water pump that when dry, I need to turn it off.

You might have a leak somewhere that is not allowing your water system to pressurize.
