My family is closing on a lakehouse this week, and we have been researching boats for the last few months. We have many differing opinions on Jet Boats vs. I/O's.
Everything I can find on the internet reviews jet boats during the initial introduction. Mainly from 2005 and before.
I'd really like to hear from people who own 2007 and later Yamaha (or other brands)jet boats with the twin 4 stroke engines.
The actual boat size, layout of seating, amount of seating, and attractiveness of the jet drives is very good. (Excellent even)
How is the performance? How do they behave with rookie tubers, wakeboarders, and skiers? How do they behave with advanced skiers and wakeboarders?
What is the concensus now that Yamaha seems to have addressed the original jet boat issues for watersports?
