I/O Auto Pilot Question

Hello,
I have a 1988 Four Winns Vista 245. This is my first boat and is in good shape for its age. I am looking at installing an autopilot system but do not know where to start. It has a OMC 460 King Cobra I/O. Any help would be great.

I'm sorry to hear that it's that driveline,... Did you just buy the boat,..??

Parts for it are a Real Problem...
If you intend to be a Boater for the long term,...
I'd suggest you sell it while it's still running Good...

I would start with a dealer that installs auto-pilot. they can answer all the question.
As stated above, id look into getting a boat with a Merc set up. Then you can add all the goodies that you want. You will also be able to buy parts for the engine and drive.

Just wondering, why are you adding an auto pilot to small of a boat?

Is that hard wired to your to your GPS?... I don't see a USB port
