Mirage boat: Good or not so good

I am shopping for a used boat and am looking at a 1987 Mirage. I'm not familiar with this brand. Does anybody have a comment about the quality of Mirage boats?

Its 23 years old so even a top line boat not taken care of could be rotted so definately have it looked at by a surveyer before you buy.

What model is the Mirage?

I have an 88 270 with twin 350 and alphas, so far I like mine. Seems like a very well built hull, has a cockpit liner from the factory which is nice.

Lots of room to work on the motors, the only problem I can see with mine is some stress cracking in the front of the bilge area, and it may need a motor mount box looked at.
