OK, so I just got my new Moeller tank (that I ordered here from iBoats). I'm ready to set it under the seat of my Whaler, but one problem. The fuel withdrawal elbow is seated too far down and there is not enough clearance to screw in the fuel connector. It almost appears to be a manufacturing defect. I know those pickup elbows are sealed and tested for pressure after install, so I don't want to just start wrenching on it. Any ideas to remedy?
