Washed and waxed the boat this morning. Always carry tins of rubbing and polishing compounds to help clean stains, and polish up scrapes and skuffs, etc.
After the wash/wax job was done, I was admiring the finish, and noticed the stainless steel bow rail had some light staining or discoloration to it. So I took the polishing compound and gave the whole rail and fittings the once over. Then washed and dried the rail. What a difference! Now the bow rail really shines! And the finish is bright and even with no yellowing or mineral buildup.
Quick, easy, inexpensive and very effective.
Simple solutions like this really make my day! So call me boring.
