Anyone know where I can find a folding beaching skid/platform? I've seen them around, but now that I want one, I can't find one. Usually aluminum framed with carpeted, plywood v-shaped landing area. Saves boats here in the mid-west from rock damage on our "beaches".

Thanks!

Very nice, but more elegant and expensive than what I have used, and had in mind. Anyways, the unit I'm after has 4 legs that rest on shore, just below water where the hull would first contact shore. Boat gets tied up to whatever is available on shore.

Looks like it would be easy enough to just build one from some pressure treated lumber, maybe some PVC pipe for skids, or anything you need.

Have you considered an anchor buddy? Its like a big bungee anchor rode. I've used them over the last 6 or so years and have good luck using them.
