Hi Guys, has anyone out there ever hooked up a washdown to their fresh water tank? I would like to do this but don't know if there are any down sides to it other then using my water too quickly!

Thanks

I have one on my boat and other than using you're water VERY quickly there's no downsides.

I have both raw (SW) and freshwater washdown capabilities.

I use raw water washdown for rinsing down the decks and general clean up. Primarily use FW for rinsing off the fishing equipment and as a deck shower during the day.

Re: Fresh water washdown?

Thank you guys! Just out of curiosity how many showers do you get away with?

Also, I am thinking of using a tee to split the fresh water tank delivery, one side will just be for cabin/head sink perhaps to wash and the second to the pump. Make sense? The head uses a seacock so no worries there.

Thanks
