There is some writing on the side of the housing. What does it say? The lever beneath the pump opens and closes the water flow to the pump (if one was there). All you have is the housing where the pump used to be. You need a new pump. It looks like the pump housing is secured to the valve beneath it with a hose clamp.

unscrew it. Probably has lots of sealant on it. Pray it's not 5200.
when you go to the marine store and look at pumps you'll see how they can screw into the same fitting. I recently changed one out.

An oil/fuel filter remover should grip it enough to give you the leverage. My feeling is someone may have tried, hence why it's cracked up.

OK well see how the lower lip is tan and the plastic broken part is white ...

Do i try to loosen the tan part or only the white broken pump ?

Put a small Pipe wrench or faucet wrench on the pipe below the valve to hold the pipe in place and use another wrench to remove the valve with the pump part-you will probably need to replace the valve anyway.

Measure your bait well volume, measure the discharge pipe diameter

Just about any pump will do what you need as long as it has the GPM to keep the bait alive

I would guess that the pump that was in there is no longer made

I would use a plastic valve and hoses to replace what you have from the pipe nipple on

Can't tell from the picture but there may be a hex just above the top of the valve body. If so, put a pipe wrench or adjustable wrench on it an unscrew it. Even if you can't find a pump with the same size threaded inlet, you can use reducers to make it work.

I apologize im really unskilled in this dept , so bare with me please ...

So you think i should just remove the whole valve and then what ?
Replace the whole valve that goes thru the hull with something like whats in the photo ?
As you can see in the photos above the aerator is thru the hull bottom ...

I have the same set-up. Seacock with the pump screwed on the top. Rule makes a pump like that as do most other brands. It's pipe thread and they are all like that is they are screw-ons. If you can't get the pump off and the entire assembly winds up turning, take it all out, replace what you need to replace and reinstall the whole thing, using a good 3m sealant around the thru-hull fitting. Hopefully the plastic will release its death grip with the wrench persuasion tactic.
