OK, I am not sure if this is the right section of the forum, but nothing else seemed to fit.
Here is the problem,
If there is ANY solid waste whatsoever, this thing just does NOT want to clear itself.
Attempts to flush it result in a fountain of waste, literally! Continuous plunging will finally clear it, but this is clearly not acceptable.
Water flow is good, but it seems to be squirting the water directly BACK out of the waste port if there is any blockage.
Where do I start? I was thinking of taking the shop vac and clearing out all the (now clear) water from the bowl and then removing the waste outlet hose to see if there was any obvious blockages there....beyond that, my experience with this type of apparatus is zero. The last boat had a "porta-pottie" style head.
Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated.
I have taken a picture of the offending apparatus in case anyone has experience with this particular vintage.
