mold on boat carpet

Does anyone know of a cleaner that removes mold and is safe to use on boat carpet? Have a 2003 tracker boat with gray carpet... has a few spots of black mold on it. Keep it in the garage and have a boat cover on it most of the time but the mold is really bad in east texas. Do a lot of night fishing and the dew falls on it. Also is it ok to wash the carpet off with a water hose?

Try Starbrites mildew remover. I used it on my white seats and top on my Searay you just spray it on and wait the mildew just fades and disappers, keep it wet with more spray it takes about 10 minutes then hose it off the surface. It removed every bit of mildew for me. I thought I would have to look at the mildew spots forever....my seats and top look like new.....
