glove box replacement

Hi... I have a 16.5 ft Princecraft aluminum runabout, the glove box that came with is is a real pos, just a cheap plastic box with a hinged lid. Problem is the lid is fractured in several places and it needs to be replaced.....any ideas?<br /><br />It mounts onto a vinyl covered dash thats just a piece of plywood, looks to be about 5/8s thick or so, no conture to the dash, just flat. current opening is about 6 high by 13 wide.<br /><br />Thanks <br />Tim<br /><br />boat is a 1985 model

hey i'm am looking for a golve box too but i was looking to get one i could mount so the lid is on a horizontal plane. anyone got any ideas on that
