remote steering...any suggestions?

Hi guys,

First of all, I didn't know which forum to post this so I picked this one. I have an older merc kicker motor on my 22 starcraft 4.3 I/O. I would like to rig up some sort of remote steering and throttle. Can anyone give me a link, or does anyone have any suggestions. I know the EZ steer exists, but this does not cover throttle. I was hoping there is a product out there, or combination of products, to achieve throttle and steering at the helm.

Is there any remote unit, that does not require the installation of cables all the way up to the cockpit?

sorry no. easy steer takes care of steering, but you need compatible controls for shift and throttle.

If you want something nice consider and autopilot like the tr-1 gold from Garmin.

Sorry about the Hijack but do you have any performance specs on the Islander with the 4.3? Fuel burn rates, 4.3 hp, top speed etc..
