outboard engine lock

I know someone has an answer for this.
I just bought a new out board motor from Mercury
25 horse. I was wondering if there is a locking system
some where that will protect the engine from theft.
I think it's a shame that Mercury doesn't do something.
I've found a locking bar on the Internet but I don't know
I would like a better answer than that.
