Ok I've just bought 1989 WellCraft Classic 180 -- Inboard/Outboard.
It has an ski rope eye/hook just above the outdrive, but after the my first run today I noticed while pulling a tube, the rope seemed to get caught under the wake a lot.
I want to install "something" that allows me to tie-off ski rope about 12" above top of boat (this will be about 20" above existing eye).
I don't want anytype of "tower" system or a large (4') tripod setup.
I found a ski tow hitch from overton's -- see attachment. Has anyone used/installed one of this. Does it work? Is rigid? Any helpful info?
I had invisioned sometype of small ~14" skipole & small tripod setup where to 2 brackes are shorter (~12"). Anyone every homemade anything like this? Any help would be grealty appreciated.
Thanks!!!
