my hydraulic helm pump is leaking, i can convert back to manual for 100 bucks or get a new helm for 360, i dont have and driving with both system (first outboard boat) so i really dont know what i should do....
are you sure helm leak cannot be repaired...if not...if you operated boat w/manual steering before going hydraulic ask yourself if hydraulic offered any real advantages over manual...if not,go back to manual...the no-feedback manual systems work great!
