hi ya all, im new here and i need your help. my problem right now is the lenco trim tab retrofit and as i understood that it was supposed to replace bennett actuators as it should fit using the same tab, but i found out that the lenco actuator a bit longer than the bennett trim tab actuator making the plane bit down few degrees instead of level? my first thought was to replace the plane itself from 9 by 12 to a 12 by 12 allow plane level out but the aft ladder is in its way, my other options is to plug transome holes and move it up then pick up new holes and use the same bennett plane to level it out? any suggestions? i would appreciate your feed back with experience thanks!

Doesn't sound like you have a choice unless Lenco offers a shorter Actuator . . . Oh, and I would want the tab actually set UP above the angle of the bottom, around 3 degrees if I remember correctly.
