I have noticed that most older jet boats have the steering on the port side of the boat and all most all others have it on the starboard side. Anyone know why? Not really important I was just wondering.

Hi, I also have a 94 sea rayder 13'6" 90hp The steering has a problem .it seems to be missing something under the helm near steering wheel that guides the cable into the boat -there are two small holes that seems to be a place to install some kind of cable guide with screws or bolts before it enters the boat from steering wheel to side of boat.someone put plastic ties to hold up the cable that have just now broke off and it wont turn the boat-cable bends without stability .Does anyone have a photo of the underside or the steering wheel where the cable goes into the side of the boat so I can see what the part was? Thanks -I could use a place to buy a repair manual if it exists
