Oh yeah, and a Maxum also..Looking at these boats for a possible purchase (of one of them)

The 1st is a (20.5')1998 Glastron GS-205/RB with the 4.3 Volvo.. Very nice and well maintained..

The 2nd is a (21') 1997 Wellcraft Eclipse with the the Volvo 5.7. Also very nice and well maintained.

The 3rd is a 2000 Maxum 1900SR with the 5.0 merc.
Also very nice shape..

My questions are do any one of these have anything better about them than the other? Ride, quality, power, etc...

Thanks.. OH yeah, the purpose of this boat will be for Family Recreation. Tubing, swimming off of, light fishing, and crusing around.. I'm in Florida so i'll be boating in the inter-coastal alot and possibly going out in open waters on occassion. (not big water)

Thank You...

I would lean toward the 21' Wellcraft. So long as your truck/SUV can handle it. A professional survey would be in order for a boat of that age.

Kelly Cook

Have an older Wellcraft 21' cuddy with a 5.7 Merc, no complaints here. The Glastron and Maxum will not ride as well in open water.

If you are going to be doing all those watersports, then make sure you have a nice size swim platform. Really makes a difference.

I run a 1988 23' Wellcraft CC powered with twin 1.6L outboards. Best riding boat I have had in 35 years.
