Does anyone have a good method of lashing a 13 lb Danforth anchor to a bow roller? The roller is a single type with a U shaped shackle(?)going over the roller; I'm sure you've seen them.
Thanks.

I have a small bracket that looks like the hook on the end of the line from your winch to your boat. I put a link from the chain attached to the anchor over the hook. The open end of the hook is facing the stern. It has a spring in it to lock the link in place.

The thought of the anchor letting go as I am running down the turnpike is not pleasent.

If ya don't want to mess with using a bracket designed for that just put a length of line through a link or hole in the anchor and tie to a cleat. Works for me.
Dave
