Pedal Boats- Do they all have paddle wheels?

Hi folks,<br />I'm looking for a pedal boat, and have noticed all have paddle wheels. Now, I assume that is not as good as a good ol' prop, but am I wrong? Also, does anybody know of one with a prop?

Probably doesn't help much, but here in the Med there are thousands of pedaloes with props and a rudder.<br /><br />Maybe you'll find them near where you are if you keep looking.

Around here they sell pedal surf boards with a prop and rudder, so I bet the same company makes a boat. I can't find them online though.<br />Eric

Trent, thanks for the link, I will look into it. The only thing I don't like about that is that it is more like a ski boat. I was looking for more like a pontoon boat. Thanks for the info and keep it comin'!

I just bought a real cool peddle boat - antique Water Skeeter!!!!!! Has anyone ever heard of this one?
