This time of the year there are loads of big old glass boats for sale around our parts, north shore Lake Erie. We had to laugh the other day. A guy had a big sign propped against his 80's or 90's era 26 footer.
BUY TRAILER, FREE BOAT
To scrap a big glass boat here you need to cut it up, separate all the different materials and bring it to the "Recycle Centre" Depending on the weight it can cost you well over $1000.00. The tipping fee just to drive in is 20 bucks. We don't have garbage dumps any longer.
