I live on Cape Cod and am looking for a new 8' or slightly less tri-hull dinghy, stable but fairly light in weight. The only source on the Cape is West Marine, but theirs is a little longer (9.4) than I want.
I suspect I can order something through a marina, but I don't seem to find anybody who makes them. Could someone please list manufacturers or if you have a dinghy that meets my specs that you like, please describe. I know inflatables have taken over in popularity, but there still must be some demand for the old kind. Thanks very much for your help. Frank

Thank you. Please note that I am looking exclusively for hard plastic ((e.g. fiberglass) not an inflatable.

Walker Bay Boats. I have 2, the 8' and the 10'. They are a bit expensive new but very durable. Not exactly light, the 8' is about 70 lbs. Not tri hull but they row well. They also can be fitted with optional air bladders on the gunnels for extra stability.
