I will be starting to get the boat ready for hauling this weekend. I?m taking the radar arch off, both for height issues and for inspection. Anything else not tied down, stored, or needed for transport is out. I know you guys want pics but I?m wanting to wash this dirty pig down first. Checked with the owner as to why the engine was removed, it was due to a thrown rod that put a crack in the block. I?m going to meet with him tomorrow for paperwork keys and to get a more detailed history of the boat. I believe I heard him say it?s been his since it was new. Already lined up a buddy who is a master carpenter, so I have very competent help if wood has to be replaced. Also offered to rebuild any wood stuff in the cabin area out of some nice oak. Hopefully I will have before and after cleaning pics and some others up by Saturday night.
