Hi all. Just received a boat from my father in law that he purchased at auction about 6 years ago. The engine is a 1975 Evinrude 40 HP. It is sitting on a 1975 Roadrunner trailer. So I am surmising that the boat is a 1975 but can't be sure. It does not have a HIN for lookup. It has a Canadian compliance sticker that says "Int. Fiberglass Sports Fisherman" I googled the heck outta this but can't seem to find a manufacturer and model info. Just wondering if anyone can ID. Thanks for looking.

If it is newer than a late build 1972 there has to be a HIN number at the rear, starboard side, it should be just below the rub rail. If the boat has been painted take a strong light and shine it on the hull from the side and see if there are any indentations. If you can see some you can sand the paint off to reveal the numbers. Also look under the steering console and you may find a serial plate.

all boats have HIN's after 1972

as long as you have proper paperwork and the boat is registered, what else do you need?
