Ok guys, I have a a Volvo penta 270 outdrive. The tilt trim currently doesn't work. So I'm gonna try and figure that out, but one problem I'm having is that the outdrive is sitting down and is about 3-4 inches from where it locks into place but it won't go down any further. Whenever I try to lift it it lifts freely without any problem like nothing is attached. But when I go to set it back down it'll get about 3-4 inches away and it feels like it's hitting something solid and won't go down any further. I don't wanna try and force it down and end up breaking something. Is this because the tilt motor doesn't work or am I having a bigger issue? I'm new to boating so excuse my lack of knowledge thanks
