Pontoon Max Power Rating

I have a 1986 Playbouy "Yachtsman" 24' pontoon. It was pretty rough when we got it, and as a result, there was no capacity plate. Was curious what the max power I could safely run would be. Most things I've read seem to point to 85 hp. Does this sound right? Would I be risking it running a 100 hp 2 stroke Merc?

Now I'm reading the limited specs here on iboats, and it shows 115 as the max?

As long as the transom appears in decent shape, I'd have no problem running a 100hp 2 stroke on that barge.
