I am looking for a soap or detergent that will really loosen tough dirt on my boat. Also what gets rid of rust spots?

Mostly just surface dirt, some fish guts, and general dirt build up. Usually just hit it with the power washer and purple power, but it didnt get it all this time.

I usually find a decent cleaner under the kitchen sink or sometimes in the laundry room.

For rust stains, try a product called "Iron Out" which is available at hardware stores

My favorite 3 cleaning items:

I use Barkeeper's Friend liquid for everything from cleaning the stainless BBQ to polishing gelcoat...
That and a Magic Eraser will get most anything off--
And for baked-on fish guts and night crawlers and such, a little steam cleaner is your best friend... :)

Ahhhh.....I like the steam cleaner idea. Will it harm the gel coat?
