Willing to guess that's a 25k boat around here (left over boat show special) In fact, when I first read this my first though was "you can get a 22 footer for 40k" but suspect the exchange rate explains much of the price difference.
However, I suspect not the entire story either. I travel out of the country a lot....headed to Germany and Australia In April for example. I think most Americans forget how accessible "toys" are to Americans campared to other places.
