To tell you the truth I have a Marine AM/FM/CD stereo with removable faceplate and don't remember the last time I used it. I won't turn it on fishing and if I'm on the boat I'm fishing.
Finally made it on the water this weekend, we took it up to Cesarea and launched on lake Scugog with my brother in law, she did really good and my brother in law and my son loved it, she can definitely fly with that 70hp Johnson Seahorse. We went out for a good hour as it was dark and started to get a little windy and rough towards the last half hour, but we managed to do our maiden voyage.
Thanks everyone for all the tips and advise, can't wait to take it fishing with the boy.
Congrats! Looks fantastic. Since seeing this boat on this forum, I've seen quite a few others around just like it, but none appearing to be in quite as good shape. Got mine out on the water this weekend too - will post about it in my discussion thread. Cheers!
She's done great in the water so far... finally re-numbered her, and her name is still The Lady since that's what the PO's wife expressed was her name.
