Just picked it up a few months back was bought new not sure if it was customized when ordered maybe someone could have info looked all over web never seen any like it

She's a 1978 Mariner. Not a custom boat, but more like neglected and abused in my opinion. She is still more than worthy to fix up to be a darn good fishing boat again.

78 is the year, 1978 and the F9 is the model number. I've seen the F9 before for Mariners. Except for the F9, the HIN decodes to;

The guy I got it from his dad got it new not sure how long it sat in the elements but it has 2 live wells up front the hull is straight not beat up the robots seem to be pretty good it gona be a total restore gona get started real soon hope to have it ready by fall came with a 175 evinrude gona have me mechanic check it out see if it's worth fixing if not just repower with something newer getting things in order to start the project

Oh boy a total restore you say, awesome! I'll be looking forward to seeing one of the big V5s hit the waves again.

I thought about customizing it a little and finding a walk through windshield and double console like the hewescraft with a top I guess we'll see when I get there
