I found a 1987 Glasstream, with a volvo penta motor. 18 feet, new upholstered and tune up engine. 2500 OBO

This one looks decent. You want to find out what brand stern drive is in it.

You want a Mercruiser or Volvo with Chevy based power. OMC went out of business and Ford got out of the marine business decades ago.

For least chance of financial devastation though, I prefer an aluminum hull with an outboard motor.
