Ok, I bought a Minn Kota 160 trolling motor (2 x 80s) for my 18' foot bowrider which has an OMC Cobra Outdrive and hydraulic trim. The ad said "lightweight" but I didn't realize how @#$%^& heavy these suckers are! will my hydraulics be damaged? I can't imagine Minn kota selling an item than isn't useable but is there a way to find out the weight limit of the hydraulic system? Anyone else have them mounted on a Cobra with some experience they can share? Thank you

It weighs 72 pounds. I wouldn't worry about the hydraulics. I would be concerned about that weight on the AV plate.

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,... Considerin' the hyd. trim endures the entire thrust of the drive, the tiny bit of weight of the trollin' motor is irrelevant,...
