Tinacsimmons@yahoo.com Welcome aboard. Your new thread after moving it out of a long dormant topic.

As JB said, if you happen to stumble on an owner's manual, it will probably won't help you much.

So, what are you looking for? Whatever it is, we can give you a hand.

You will be better off finding the manual (s) for whatever your propulsion is. The boat manual will mostly just be generic boat safety type stuff.

When recreational boats are manufactured they may buy stereos from several vendors. You get the vendor manual for the stereo when the boat is sold. Same for all of the other accessories and items on the boat. One manual does not cover all the details like it does for a car. As mentioned, get a Service Manual and/or an Operators manual for your particular drive -- it is far more valuable. You don't need a manual to tell you what the switch labeled "Lights" does. Or "Bilge Pump", etc.

The above statements are bang on. Boat manuals are generally useless as a tool to help you operate or troubleshoot a problem. You will get better answers just by asking here at iboats. The info I have received here is like having a personal boat Guru at my finger tips. Ask away.
