Hello. The fuel line in this boat is having a problem keeping prime. As I was tracing the line back to the tank, I came across a small plastic piece that may have been the problem. As it grabbed it, NOT pulled on it, the nipple broke off. It may have been cracked and I just helped it along. Anyway, I have had zero luck finding what this piece is or what its purpose is. I am thinking maybe it switches the main fuel line in the tank to the reserve. Any help?

Does it have just 2 lines to it? If so,it is just a shut-off.

Thanks for the reply. After having time to really get to it, I discovered it is in fact the remote switching valve for my main tank pickup tube to my reserve tank tube. I have simply capped off one of the hoses at the tank and bypassed the valve altogether. Do not have the reserve capacity now. The priming bulb seems to fill and hold a prime now. We'll see next time I take it out. Thanks again for the reply.
