Hey guys I just picked up my second boat, a 1967 MFG Niagara Custom that was owned by the same person for 28 years. It's powered by a 1983 Johnson that runs flawless and has been mechanic serviced since the PO owner had it. My question is what's the best way to give it the close to brand new look clean and shine? Also what's the best way to clean the old style plexiglass windshields, I tried windex but it didn't do the trick. Thanks again and happy boating!

From the pix, it looks to me like theres going to be a good bit more work then any wax/restorer product alone will solve.

Better pix would be helpful.

Is the windshield crazed and hazy?

No Title

Here's some pictures, the sides are pretty good shape, the paint on the gunnel is starting to fade a little but for the rest of the season I just want to give it some love. And a little hazy, not exactly 100% clear

So I gave the gelcoat some love and with a couple buffings and wax it shined back to glory. I'm going to look into Meguiars Plastx and try it on the windshield and check out the results.

Maybe i'm not thinking exactly outside the box, but what is the proper way on anchoring a boat like this?

Here's a little walk around of the boat as it is right now:
